Bangor, Maine- ICU.  Bangor where? It wouldn’t be a fault against you if one was not familiar with the city of Bangor.  Bangor is the third most-populous city in Maine.. It is the largest market town, distribution center, transportation hub, and media center in a five-county area whose population tops 330,000 and which includes Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, Aroostook, and Washington counties. Bangor was incorporated in 1834, which means that beautiful 19th century architecture populates much of the city. Ultimately though, nurses travel to Bangor for the people, and the environment.  Just outside Bangor’s city limits lies an expansive wilderness loaded hiking and biking trails. Travel nurses looking for something a little different for their next assignment should not overlook Bangor, Maine!

Redding, California- Med Surg. Lebanon, New Hampshire- Med Surg.   Nurses who have taken a travel nursing job at Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon have absolutely loved their time there.   DHMC, New Hampshire’s only academic medical center is headquartered on a 225-acre campus in the heart of the Upper Connecticut River Valley, in Lebanon, New Hampshire.  The environment is beautiful, the people are friendly; plus, Lebanon village is a cultural hub: with attractions such as the Lebanon Opera House (in City Hall), the AVA Gallery, seasonal Farmers’ Market and summer concerts on the green!
